Dog Behaviour Training Toronto

About Me

Mark Elliott

I’m proud to say that I’ve never met a dog I couldn’t help, no matter how many other methods may have failed in the past. There is a great deal of communication humans miss out on from our dogs and I have based my career around bridging this gap.

I have been working with dogs in several capacities for over 25 years. When I work with people, my goal is always to unite that divide that creates discord between dogs and their owners.

I will show you how to use energy, intention, body language, and tones (verbal language) to communicate clearly with your dog(s) and achieve the positive results you’ve been hoping for.  My training techniques are designed to not involve fear or intimidation. They are to help you show your dog leadership and structure. You will be amazed at the improvements in your dog’s behaviour.

What you can expect working with me:

I’m honest and to the point. I won’t try to upsell you on anything or bait you for more sessions you won’t need. I’m here to improve your relationship with your dog and send out confident dog owners into the world. If you’re consistent with the methods learned, you will see results in the relationship with your dog quickly.

While I help with all canine issues, I have a special interest in reactive dogs, aggressive behaviour, and separation anxiety.

Off Duty

When I’m not dog training I’m spending time with my own pack of dogs or trying the latest plant based restaurants. I am an animal welfare advocate and enjoy spending time in nature.

Dog rescue

Over my 25 year career, I have fostered over a 100 dogs and trained hundreds of dogs new to rescue. The rescue process can be overwhelming, competitive and confusing. I will meet with you (and your partner or family) and one of my dogs so we can have a 45 minute assessment on what is really going to suit your lifestyle. Things I take into account when making placements:

  • Your lifestyle
  • Your work hours
  • Any allergy needs
  • Assertive
  • Your exercise requirements
  • After the assessment I work with reputable local rescues to make educated placements. Currently for rescues I work exclusively with Redemption Paws, DIBS Rescue, Team Dog Rescue, Paws Across The Water and Save Our Scruff. I do not currently work with any breeders.
